When your baby is turning one, its time to have some fun!

In several unbelievably fast months, your child has grown in leaps and bounds. Your tiny, completely reliant newborn is now moving and communicating in ways that would’ve not seemed possible just a short time ago.

A first birthday’s not only a huge milestone in a child’s life, but also yours as a parent. With each passing day, your child is thriving and showing you more of their personality. Their growing independence allows you to slow down and savour the moments that make your heart sing.

Imagine the excitement in your child’s face when they’re given an entire cake to play with, all to themselves! A cake smash photography shoot is the perfect way to celebrate this momentous occasion. Let me take care of the details (and the mess!) while you sit back and enjoy the heart warming moments as your one-year-old realises that they can eat the big squishy cake in front of them.

Occasionally, some children are initially hesitant, unsure of the sticky icing and spongy cake. Others dive in head first, putting their whole face into the cake! At either extreme, or anywhere in between, I’ll take the time to ensure they’re comfortable and having fun, allowing me to capture their emerging personality perfectly.

To make the experience even sweeter, all cakes are professionally baked by Tracey’s Cakes, which taste as delicious as they are beautiful.

To ensure your baby leaves the studio squeaky clean, the shoot will conclude with photos of your baby in a bathtub, surrounded by bubbles… what fun!
